It looks like the mega swap deal involving two notable strikers Samuel Etoo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is set to take it's ending as latest reports from Italy stated that Eto'o has finally agreed his contract terms with Inter. It is also said that the cameroon striker will be flying to Italy on Monday to complete sign the papers and do his medical in Milan.

If you were to read any article about Serie A, you would think it was on the verge of collapse.  The favorite points are
always the same, how the Premier League and La Liga have more money and that the big stars of Serie A are all leaving for these "superior" leagues.  Also they enjoy remarking about the old stadiums and how violent Italian soccer fans are.  Lets look at these criticisms carefully.  Sure, this isn't the highest point in the history of the Italian top flight.  However, do not let the media convince you of all these so fast.  The big spending ways of the other top two leagues will eventually catch up with them.  Manchester United even showed that they are not the financial superpower that they want you to believe when they immediately accepted the bid for Ronaldo, and I'll guarantee that not all of the money will be respent, given the massive debt the club has on its shoulders.  Not to mention the failed strategies of Real Madrid,

he UEFA Cup competition, and they finished a slightly better 3rd place while watching in town rival Inter Milan finish 1st in Serie A for the 4th straight year. Adding to Milan's woes, financial and otherwise, Paolo Maldini retired, head coach Carlo Ancelotti resigned to take over at Chelsea FC, and its rumored Ancelotti is keen to bring Alexandre Pato and Andrea Pirlo with him to London.
