always the same, how the Premier League and La Liga have more money and that the big stars of Serie A are all leaving for these "superior" leagues. Also they enjoy remarking about the old stadiums and how violent Italian soccer fans are. Lets look at these criticisms carefully. Sure, this isn't the highest point in the history of the Italian top flight. However, do not let the media convince you of all these so fast. The big spending ways of the other top two leagues will eventually catch up with them. Manchester United even showed that they are not the financial superpower that they want you to believe when they immediately accepted the bid for Ronaldo, and I'll guarantee that not all of the money will be respent, given the massive debt the club has on its shoulders. Not to mention the failed strategies of Real Madrid,
but that is for another post. So Kaka' was sold, does this mean that Serie A is not worth watching anymore? Of course not, soccer is a team game, and one player will not have such a big effect. Milan got the best years out of him. Same goes for Ibrahimovic. Even as an Inter fan, I will not feel any remorse should he be sold. Who wants a player that has lost the will to play for your team? Inter also got the best out of Zlatan. The Italian powerhouses will buy the Kaka's and Ibrahimovic's of tomorrow all while operating at a profit. Well, thats the end of my rant for now, to be continued...
